Your new role
This role will involve supporting individuals with integrated and end-to-end treatment with service users who are experiencing issues with drugs and/ or alcohol use. The successful applicant will contribute to a high quality service, ensuring that best practice guidelines are achieved and adhered to. The successful applicant will be responsible for acting as the main care co-ordinator overseeing assigned groups of service users, providing screening, assessments, recovery planning and reviews to ensure the correct service pathways are in plan for all users. You will assist in the development and performance of the service to ensure that effective outputs are achieved. You will also have the responsibility to identify barriers for service users and will provide an integral part in the delivery of clinical and psychosocial interventions.
What you'll need to succeed
You’ll be responsible for service users from a variety of different backgrounds, as such we are looking for adaptable, friendly and flexible recovery/ support workers. You will have experience working with vulnerable individuals, ideally within an addiction and/or mental health setting. Support can be given in the prescribing of all medication if necessary.
